7 juli: 10 years with UN Security Council resolution 1325- what next?
10 years after the adoption of UN Security Council Resolution 1325 on women, peace and security analyses show that women’s participation and representation are still often ignored. International developments have therefore made evident, more than ever, that increased political attention is central to ensure that we do not slip back to considering women merely as victims. This seminar seeks to address these challenges. How can Sweden continue to promote women as equal actors for peace and security and what are the challenges we face internationally?
